FRACTUS was founded by a team of architects and engineers that found each other in the steel construction business. They were seeking a solution with the potential to transform the paradigm of construction; through off-site and industrialized construction processes for exterior walls, interior walls, and slabs.
For this, we needed a solution that was:
The development process took ten years. We brought together universities, laboratories, and specialists from various fields and went through several phases of testing, prototypes, trials and a few pilot projects. This combined knowledge was then funneled into creating what would become the FRACTUS panel.
Today, we can confidently say that our product has exceeded all our expectations. It is with a feeling of security and certainty that FRACTUS panel becomes available to the public.
Our panel innovates by bringing together three components, which work synergistically and result in lightweight, highly resistant, and sustainable panels.
Solutions that suit different uses (interior walls, exterior walls, slabs, ceilings, and roofs) are created by making small changes to the various components.
At FRACTUS we go beyond the panels. With our solution, we industrialize a crucial part of the construction process, making it faster, more efficient, and more sustainable.
The process begins with a study of architecture and engineering. Then, a 3D model is created, using BIM technology. Each panel, each connection, and the different MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) components are designed.
Off-site production allows us to deal with the various phases of the project simultaneously. While we produce and dispatch the panels, it is possible to move forward with other phases of the construction. The panels and other components arrive at the work site identified and ready to assemble. This eliminates the need to improvise, drastically cuts unforeseen factors, and makes the whole construction process easy, like a puzzle.
The FRACTUS construction solution results in time savings between the completion of the projects and the completion of the construction. With detailed 3D modeling, we solve potential problems in the design phase, reducing costs and delays on site. The ease with which the panels assemble results in lower incorporation of labour. All these features increase reliability and accelerate the construction process, generating added value for our customers and partners.
